New instructor......Amy Crow

I started in the Fitness industry in 2008, after participating in classes for several years and falling in love with Group Exercise! I quickly progressed from my Exercise to Music Training and went on to become qualified in Indoor Cycling, Body Pump and Body Combat.

I love teaching Group Fitness classes and seeing a mixture of people of all ages and abilities working together to improve their fitness and wellbeing. Not only are classes a fantastic way to get in shape and feel motivated to work hard, but there is also a great social aspect to them. It's lovely to see people who have come along on their own be welcomed into a group, make friends and feel part of a team. Recently a group of my regular participants joined me at the "Monster Race", a tough obstacle course which challenged our fitness to another level!

Over the years I have taught classes on a part-time basis alongside a full time job. I was able to continue teaching classes through my pregnancy until I was 8months pregnant and then got back to it as soon as I could. Now my little one has just started school I have decided to focus more on my fitness career, as it is something I can work around having a child. I am planning to do more courses next year. The fitness industry is ever expanding and the options of Group Exercise classes continues to grow alongside it.

I am really looking forward to meeting the members of @Worle and sharing their fitness journey. I will be teaching Spin @ 9:15am & TBC @ 10:15am on Tuesdays.

New instructor...... Amanda.....

I have been a Fitness Professional since 1991.  So much has changed since then but I remain committed to delivering fitness classes for all abilities.  For me, the participant is my focus so my aim is to make fitness accessible for all abilities so that everyone can achieve their goals. I teach a variety of classes from high intensity HIIT to chillaxing(but core challenging) Yoga and Pilates programmes.

I‘m currently studying for my BA Hons in Sports & Fitness Coaching to develop my skills to a higher level and I’m also studying Level 2 Children’s Fitness so I hope to encourage the younger generation to enjoy fitness and remain active through their lives.

Amanda will be teaching Kettlecise and Freestyle Yoga & Pilates on Friday evenings.

Day 8.....New Instructor.....Hannah Stokes

From a young age I have always had a passion for dance and over the past 10 years I have diversified and built upon my knowledge, training in various disciplines and styles. Since 2009 I have been privileged enough to teach and promote street dance classes across the Southwest, this includes providing classes in Schools, Dance academies and fitness groups wanting to add a fun, motivational option to achieve and maintain good health and fitness levels. I qualified  with 'Premier Training International' as a Level 3 Gym Instructor and Personal trainer two years ago to further my learning of the fitness industry and to incorporate this into dance/fitness classes.

I believe fitness is about having fun and achieving your goals in a positive and structured manner. My aims as an instructor are to combine the enjoyment of dance whilst pushing you to reach your goals in an original and exciting way.

Hannah will be teaching Monday Street Tone and Wednesday Sass Class.

Day 7......New Instructor - Samantha Nedgar

Our very own home grown Sam is taking over Box-Fit at the centre. Sam started at the centre a year ago to start her career which had always been a dream until starting with @Worle.

Sam has always had a passion for fitness especially when it comes to Boxing and has always wanted to venture down the instructor route. Sam will be doing her Strong by Zumba course in December.

@Worle is a charity and is keen to help and promote people in every way it can. Sam is a great example of someone following a dream and we are proud to help her along the way.

Sam will be doing Friday 10am Box-Fit class, with more to come in the very near future.

Day 5.....New Instructor - Jo Temlett

I went to my first dance lesson aged 4 and haven't stopped since! Originally training in classical ballet, tap and Irish I then branched off into the world of Street dance in my teens before completing my degree in Contemporary dance.

I started my career as a Dance teacher in a local secondary school where I founded a competitive cheer and dance team in 2009. I have won numerous regional and national titles in cheer and dance, qualified for the world street dance championships in 2012, and proudly represented England in the European dance championships in 2014. I currently coach cheerleading and dance for all ages and abilities and am really looking forward to taking the @Worle athletes to competitions in the very near future!

Jo will be taking the Dance Academy sessions on Sunday mornings 9am-12pm.
