I went to my first dance lesson aged 4 and haven't stopped since! Originally training in classical ballet, tap and Irish I then branched off into the world of Street dance in my teens before completing my degree in Contemporary dance.
I started my career as a Dance teacher in a local secondary school where I founded a competitive cheer and dance team in 2009. I have won numerous regional and national titles in cheer and dance, qualified for the world street dance championships in 2012, and proudly represented England in the European dance championships in 2014. I currently coach cheerleading and dance for all ages and abilities and am really looking forward to taking the @Worle athletes to competitions in the very near future!
Jo will be taking the Dance Academy sessions on Sunday mornings 9am-12pm.
